At the Bridge-5 Mil Computer Suite we provide FREE high-speed broadband internet access and drop-in computer facilities for adults within the local community, we have experienced staff who can help you with any computer issues you might have, we also run a comprehensive range of beginner intermediate and advanced courses covering all aspects of Information technology (I.T), We provide an informal relaxed environment and encourage people to learn at their own pace at a time that suits them.
The Bridge-5 Mill Computer Suite will soon become a training centre for organisations and community groups wishing to use open source software, we are currently developing courses in Linux (a free operating system to replace windows), OpenOffice (An office suite that replaces Microsoft Office), Mozilla (a web browser that replaces Internet Explorer or Netscape), the GIMP (an image editor similar to Photoshop).
