Claire Morris: Coordinator - Sustaining Change

After completing a degree in Sociology and Politics Claire worked as an adviser at Hope Hospital Citizens Advice Bureau and then as a youth worker and deputy manager for a supported housing project for socially excluded young people.

Looking for a new challenge Claire completed an MA in Heritage, Arts and Museums Management which then lead to her working at the Harris Museum and Art Gallery and for Arts Council England, on the Creative Partnerships schools programme. After getting itchy feet Claire left to work in India as a volunteer Project Manager supporting the personal development of young people through working on community, environmental and adventure projects.

Claire has worked for MERCi since 2008, is an Associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and has completed a PgCert in Climate Change and Sustainable Development.
