Sustaining Change Sustaining Change

Welcome to the Sustaining Change page. If you are an organisation working to bring about positive change with the people of Greater Manchester then you should join our FREE Sustaining Change programme.

Sustaining Change is designed to help build on your organisation's strengths, reduce your overheads improve your environmental performance and increase your financial diversity. We will provide you with free training, support networks, peer mentoring, sustainability audits and access to an up-to-date and information-packed sustainability website.

We believe that in order to achieve sustainability three inter-locking areas need to be addressed - environmental, social and economic. Each of these areas will be delivered through eight themes -

Food and Drink; Purchasing and Procurement; Energy and Water; Travel; Buildings and Local Neighbourhood; Inclusion and Participation; Partnership and Promotion; and Waste.

Organisations will be supported in addressing all of these through the programme

Sustaining Change is funded for 4 years from 2008 by the Big Lottery Fund and is FREE for Greater Manchester third sector organisations that have at least one paid member of staff and operate out of premises.
