EN4M is a collective of groups and organisations working to improve the environment of Manchester, towards the development of a truly sustainable city, i.e. one that does not contribute to long term environmental degradation.
Our members are involved in a wide range of activities and issues, from conservation, renewable energy, sustainable transport and pollution, to parks and open spaces, recycling and growing organic food. The Environment Network for Manchester (EN4M) helps link groups together and supports their work through a wide range of services.
Environmental groups can achieve their aims better if they share resources, experience and contacts between them. They have a louder and more legitimate voice when they organise together.
Activities we organise include networking and awareness raising events such as the Green Fair on World Environment Day, regular newsletters and email bulletins, a directory of members, training events and research.
EN4M is one of the networks that make up the Community Network for Manchester. www.cn4m.net
