The present posts are being recruited for:

Fruit & Veg Van Relief Worker

To provide cover, as and when needed - Hourly rate of pay: £8.50

MERCi is looking for a hard-working individual to provide cover, as and when needed, to operate a not-for-profit mobile fruit and vegetable shop. A clean driving licence is essential. Knowledge of East & North Manchester would be an advantage, as would good book keeping skills. This position will involve some early morning starts. Extensive training is provided.

Voluntary posts at MERCi

MERCi requires volunteers for the following areas of work:

Gardener - To develop and regularly take care of Bridge-5 Mill's own canal side garden.

Maintenance - someone with experience of DIY, who can offer time on a regular basis,.

Centre Volunteers - To welcome & show visitors around Bridge 5 Mill.

Schools Workshops - To design & run workshops for school groups.

Community Garden Volunteers - With experience of gardening or working with children

Environment Network - To help with administration tasks, event organisation and research.

History Project - To research and produce a leaflet on the history of Bridge-5 Mill and radical history in Ancoats.
