With their community locations, facilities and extensive networks third sector organisations can act as hubs of learning and catalysts of change in their local community promoting the sustainability agenda and leading by example.

Third sector organisations are becoming more aware of the need to work in partnership with other organisations especially as competition for funding is becoming more apparent. Partnership working both within the sector and with the public sector strengthens the sector and provides more opportunities for funding success.

Increasing numbers of funders are asking for evidence of sustainability as condition of funding. A robust sustainability policy can help to make a funding bid more robust and more likely to be successful.

The Sustaining Change programme will help you to not only build partnerships and develop a sustainability policy but will also allow you to identify your own ways of highlighting sustainable ways of working to provide evidence based practise which will help to strengthen your organisation.
