Becoming a friend of MERCi
MERCi is dependant on the support of its Friends and Members. Revenue generated by our Friends ensures our independence and cutting edge approach to making Manchester greener, healthier, safer and more equitable.
Friendship costs £4 for the unemployed, £9 for those in work and £20 for groups per year.
Benefits include:

- Four issues of our quarterly newsletter - Sustainability
- Recent publications including all reports
- Preferential invitation to the AGM*, courses, and events

* Becoming a Friend of MERCi entitles the subscriber to access information and services before others. Friends of MERCi however do not have voting rights at the AGM (however they may attend). Voting rights are limited to those who are members of MERCi. Any individual may apply for Membership - but they must prove that they share the ethics and philosophy of MERCi and prove that they have been working towards making Manchester more sustainable. MERCi's directors ensure such applications are treated fairly and transparently.
